Dear Hockey West Island families,
As we all deal with our new reality of living in a world affected by a pandemic which seems to change direction on a day-to-day basis, we thought we would check-in and give you an update with regards to your favourite winter sport.
While there is still no certainty with regards to what our season will look like, we look forward to each and every update from Hockey Quebec and Hockey Canada for clarity and direction. When we have certainty in terms of new playing and practicing rules in arenas, we will communicate those immediately. Currently we are in Phase 5 of a six phase plan, but as we know, things can change rapidly with how we deal with the virus. Plans will be made (in conjunction with our partner cities, Dorval & Pointe-Claire), but ultimately flexibility and adaptability will be needed on all our behalf to head back to our arenas in a safe, responsible, and fun manner.
We will be holding our AGM (virtual) and registration (on-line) in the very near future. Time and dates will be announced via e-mail and on our social media platforms.
