The majority of our HWI executives, board members, coaches, and managers are VOLUNTEERS who help with HWI in their spare time. The time they commit to helping other people’s children is often equivalent to a full time job.

Our volunteers are extremely valuable to our minor hockey association and we could not have any hockey activities without them. So we ask you to have respect.

Each year our AGM is attended by less than 5 of our almost 1400 parents. Before firing off an angry or threatening email, please consider how your words affect our volunteers, and consider becoming involved with the Executive or Board yourself if you would like to be involved in decision-making.

Any form of intimidation and disrespect will not be tolerated by Hockey West Island.
