Hockey West Island is looking for a volunteer for the position of Treasurer within our association.
Job description:
– Member of the HWI Executive.
– Establish, in collaboration with the President and Director of Operations, the operating budget for the 2024-2025 season.
– Prepare and present financial statements to the Executive/President on a monthly basis.
– Establish and maintain communication with the auditor appointed by HWI.
In collaboration with the Director of Operations:
– Verify and reconcile various revenues.
– Perform, verify and reconcile accounts payable.
– Prepare various applications for financial assistance.
Qualifications required:
– Relevant accounting experience
– Accounting designation an asset
– Good knowledge of QuickBooks
